Hi All,

Greetings In The Name of Our Saviour Jesus.

Love of my People and To do something Good is always my Favourite, How about You, Dear Brethren?

Ka Zillai Chanpi te amasapen in Damna Chibai, Tuni ah ka hung zek ut khen khat te hih ka lungthim ah cham zing genkhawm leu hin ka ut ah ka hung zek ahi.. Houlim na hih English leh Vaiphei pau in nei hitiu, Thu tam tak a lemdi doina in Sappau in Hung ziak zong ka aw, Ngaithiam ka hung dawn masai.

As we were now being approved for the Vaiphei Language as part fo MIL in Manipur, it our duty and a next big thing to improve, to excel and to continue improving it. We Vaiphei people as far as i see, we were kind of lacking good way of bidding Good Night, Good day or things like that.. We were seriously lack in Words to speak.. we also used on word for so many meaning. I am not sure if you have heard about this that, mostly English languages are being collected from different language such from the French, Spanish, latin etc. So what i thought is to be rich in words and language, why not we also collect some words from others and used as Vaiphei language and not forget its origin.

Do you think its a good idea..

I have collected few and write it down here, please do comment

If i am not mistaken, we don't have words on Hello... We can used Hello as part of Greetings as Vaiphei language or  " Aloha ", its hawaii language of saying.

1. When we meet someone on the way better to say " Dammaw, Zingpha/NitakPha/ Suun Pha" instead of " Khoi ah chia di "

2. When we bade some one Goodnight, it will be good to say " Manghoi or Ihmui tui" than "Mangpha"

3. Instead of using " Mangpha" to say Goodbye it will be more appropriate to say" Ala damzel un/in"

4. Mostly we wrote " Mangpha" for forever bidding on the Cemetry, so i would rather suggest " ala damzel ou" would be a good idea for bidding someone Goodbye or bye.

5. When we were saying Hospital, we usually said " Doctor inn", its not the house of Doctor, so if we have no word for Hospital, .. then Hospital would be a good choice to said so in Vaiphei and Consider it as Vaiphei language and its origin "English" when we include in our Dictionary.

similarly the word Doctor.

6. We we said Wages or Salary or Pay.. we tend to say Law. Also when we want to say a Basket , we do said Law.. its difficult to diffrentiate. . What i want if we said Basket as Law, we better search good words for Salary. We want to said Wages it would be good to say " Tha man" when we write.. similarly if we commonly used to said Salary as Law/Lawh.. it will be good to search a good word for Basket.

If you guys need to add more or comment on this, please don't hesitate.. Kisung la kin..

I am not be right in every word i said so , so please do correct me which and when i am wrong

Thanks all and Best Regards,

Kipak leh ka dawisak na la leng un,
