Bank route for employees’ pay

IMPHAL, May 12: Reminding the Government order of compulsory payment of salaries and other entitlements of State Govt employees of all grades through their respective bank accounts, Director of Institutional Finance, Govt of Manipur H Deleep Singh has categorically stated that for implementation of the scheme efficaciouly all emplo-yees are required to open their personal accounts in the banks immediately. Each DDO should supervise and ensure that all emplo-yees under him/her have opened their personal bank accounts and their salaries and other entitlements are drawn through bank accounts, the Director said, adding that bank branches identified under the scheme should also extend full co-operation and liaison directly with DDOs along with organising camps in offices for opening of bank accounts within the shortest possible time.
