Two hurt in mishap
IMPHAL, Jul 5: Two wom-en riding a moped (Luna) suffered severe injuries when they were hit by an Ambassador car (no. 3248, white colour) at Tidim Road near Little Flower School under Singjamei police station at about 1.30 pm today.
The injured women, currently undergoing treat- ment at RIMS, are identified as Wairokpam Sandhyarani (40) of Bamon Leikai and Kshetrimayum Purnima (47) of Singjamei Bheigyabati Leikai. It is reported that the car just sped away after hi-tting the moped. In this connection, a case has been registered in Singjamei PS.
